Annie Wright School
 The Great Hall
at Annie Wright School has been home to the Second City Chamber
Series'
Masterpiece Series
since it was founded in 1977. Annie
Wright School stands near the center of Tacoma’s beautiful and
historic north-end residential district where it enjoys easy access
from all outlying areas. The warmth, intimacy and old-world charm
of the Great Hall make it the perfect
setting for chamber music performances, offering superb acoustics for
players and listeners alike.
Directions:
- Whether you are heading north or south on
Interstate 5, take the City Center Exit (#133) to Highway 705
(North).
- Follow I-705 (North) onto the Schuster
Parkway. Stay in the right lane, and take the Stadium Way
Exit.
- Turn right onto Stadium Way, and follow it
up the hill (curving to the left) to the light onto Tacoma
Avenue.
- Turn right on Tacoma Avenue.
- Follow Tacoma Avenue, bearing left past the
Tennis Club. The School is on the right-hand side of the
street and the Great Hall
is within the main Annie Wright School building, located just off
the main lobby.

Lakewold Gardens
 For six years now, Second City
Chamber Series has made its summer home at the beautiful
Lakewold Gardens in Lakewood, Washington,
approximately ten miles south of Tacoma on the
west shores of Gravelly Lake.
Fine chamber music enchants on two starlit and magical
evenings of Concerts at the Gardens, amid the amenities of this unique
location.
Parking is limited at this venue, so Lakewold Gardens
and SCCS encourage you to carpool! And please remember:
Washington State Law forbids the consumption of alcohol at public
concert events.
Directions:

From I-5 North or Sound bound, take Exit 124, Gravelly Lake Drive.

Turn west
onto Gravelly Lake Drive, and follow the signs for approximately one mile.

Lakewold is
on Gravelly Lake Drive SW, between the traffic lights at Veterans Drive and Washington Blvd.

First Lutheran Church
 The home of
our Spotlight Concerts and our annual
performance by the
Young Chamber Players
is First
Lutheran Church. Built in 1926, First Lutheran offers a unique
sanctuary resplendent with a surround of stained glass windows; a
Moeller pipe organ with chapel bells, and an updated sound system.
The old-world crafted woodwork throughout the church provides a
beautiful setting. First Lutheran Church is located on the corner of 6th and I Street, across from Wright Park.
Directions:
- Whether you are heading north or south on
Interstate 5, take the City Center Exit (#133) to Highway 705
