Second City Chamber Series brings together many of the finest musicians of the Northwest and beyond to perform the most ancient and most recent chamber music in eclectic programs in some of the South Sound’s most beautiful venues.

If you want to get closer to the music, to the life of composers, and to the lives of musicians, join us for our 2025-26 series of performances across the Tacoma area.

Chamber music—music designed to be performed in a small room, or chamber—brings together audiences, musicians, and music in a patio, small concert space or even a large living room. To put this intimacy another way, chamber music is often called “the music of friends.”
